"What are you going to do?"
A question that I am often asked as if we all always must be "doing" something; even on our days off there is a great deal of pressure from the world, family, friends, neighbors etc, to keep moving! "Good Lord man, do something!!!"
We need to take some valuable time to "just be". This is not accomplished at night sitting on a couch with the TV on when you are tired and this is not accomplished when you are driving home after work or washing dishes or sweeping or walking.
I challenge you to give it a try for only 5 minutes this week. Sit and do nothing, not even meditating because that's a whole other "something". Try to "Just Be", give those 5 minutes to yourself as a gift. That might be all you need, or next week try to gift yourself 8 minutes or 10 minutes.
Bring a friend if that's what you need, no talking, no doing, just being. When you "just are", you start to realize the futility of layers of doing that have been built up over time. Just like an onion these layers can be peeled back and fried up to reveal a delicious flavor in your life!
Good luck out there!
Peace and Namaste
